Pets - 56 patterns

Here are some of the very best pet sewing projects that talented crafters from around the web have created. You'll find an amazing selection of different things to make for your four legged friends!

When we can, we try to give a home to blind animals, and those with other special needs, who are unwanted and end up in rescues. We currently share our home with a selection of blind and deaf dogs and cats and we often find ourselves browsing pet sewing patterns to find things to make for them. Our blind cats love it when we make toys with bells in them that they can bat around with their paws and find through sound. Our blind and deaf dog loves to feel warm and secure, so we make warm coats for him and fleecey blankets. There are so many things to make for a pet and there's lots to choose from here!

Of course, it's not just practical things that we've found to show case in our free pet sewing pattern section. You'll also find ideas for more wacky things to make. A dog tutu, for instance, or dog costumes so that Fido can join in with Halloween celebrations and costume parties. Browse our pet sewing pattern section for ideas for your next pet sewing project - and if you happen to make one or two extra items remember that animal shelters and rescues are always on the look out for suitable items to be donated.
