We look for all sorts of free sewing projects that will be suitable for photographers and early on we already started to find a wide variety of different ideas and not just the obvious ones.

Sewing new camera straps for DSLRs may seem quite an obvious idea, but it's a great way to stamp your own personality on your camera, rather than just using the branded black webbing straps that seem to come with every modern camera.

Padded bags or separators to make a normal bag into one suitable for offering greater protection for a camera are also the kind of projects that we expected to find. However, lens toys that are designed to draw the attention of child subjects were more of a surprize and are a wonderful example of creative thinking.
