For those who celebrate the 4th July each year, we continue to search out the best free sewing projects that will help you mark the occasion in suitable style.

At this point I should perhaps make public the fact that this site is British run, but I'm pleased to announce that we're now over the War of Independence and don't begrudge our American friends their day of celebrations.

We've found a mix of free sewing patterns to help mark the day, from purely decorative banners through to other items, like table runners and pillows, that will help dress a home up for this auspicious occasion.
