A body form or dress form is a mannequin torso used by dress makers to make it easier to make adjustments to their work.
Buying a body form is not cheap, but if you do a lot of dressmaking then it may be an investment that you need to make.
However, thanks to the creativeness and generosity of other sewing enthusiasts, there is a surprising number of free tutorials and videos online that share some simple techniques for making your own body form that will have your exact measurements.
